Background

The City of Wichita is seeking bids for the construction of a Water Distribution System to serve Lot Split #2025-00024 Monarch Landing Commercial Addition. This project is part of the Public Works & Utilities Department's efforts to enhance infrastructure and support community development. 1. Seeding (1 LS) 2. Temporary Seeding (1 LS) 3. Site Clearing (1 LS) 4. Site Restoration (1 LS)

Measured Quantity Bid Items

5. Pipe, WL 8" (420 LF) 6. Pipe, DICL 8" (8 LF) 7. Fire Hydrant Assembly (1 EA) 8. Valve Assembly, Anchored 8", Special (1 EA) 9. Valve Assembly, Blowoff (1 EA) 10. BMP, Silt Fence (260 LF). The contractor must adhere to the City of Wichita's Standard Specifications and any special provisions outlined in the bid proposal.

Period of Performance

The work order will be issued within thirty calendar days after contract award, with completion expected within twenty working days from the start date.

Place of Performance

The project will take place in Wichita, Kansas, specifically north of 21st Street North and west of 159th Street East.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have a minimum of three years' experience in similar services and be registered with the Kansas Secretary of State’s Office before contract execution. They must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws. A bid bond of five percent of the total bid is required prior to bid opening. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation.
