Background

Work Details

The contractor will provide various services and supplies related to high school marching band performances, including but not limited to: - Band body choreography - Color guard choreography - Color guard costumes - Color guard silks/flags - Color guard technician services - Copyright services - Costume design - Front ensemble arrangements - Marching consultant services - Marching designer/coordinator services - Marching drill creation - Marching technician services - Music arrangement services - Percussion arrangement services - Percussion technician services - Program coordinator services - Set materials/prop production services - Sound design/sound engineering services. Additionally, the contractor must provide a percentage discount on marching band supplies and equipment from their latest catalog or price list.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon board approval on August 4, 2026, and will continue for the duration specified in the awarded proposal.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various high schools within the Brownsville Independent School District located in Brownsville, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit required documents including references from school district or governmental clients, Form 1295 signed as noted in the solicitation documents, and a link to their catalog/price list. Evidence of unauthorized communication with district staff or board members may result in disqualification of bids.
