The Brownsville Independent School District (BISD) is seeking proposals for the procurement of two-way portable radios, supplies, and accessories to support district-wide communication needs. The goal of this contract is to enhance communication capabilities within the district, ensuring reliable and efficient operations.

Work Details

The contract includes the supply of various models of two-way portable radios along with necessary accessories. Specific items required include: 1. Motorola CP200 UFH 16 Channel 4 watt handheld radio with LCD display, including battery, charger, antenna, and belt clip with a 2-year warranty. 2. Maxon America TP5416U UHF Portable Radio with battery, antenna, belt clip, and charger; heavy-duty design with a 3-year warranty. 3. Maxon America 3416U - UHF Portable Radio with antenna, belt clip, battery, and charger; 1-year warranty. 4. TS 3416U - UHF Portable Radio with similar specifications as above. 5. Percentage discounts on other portable radios not listed and on supplies such as chargers, batteries, and antennas are also required.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon board approval on August 4, 2026, and will continue for the duration specified in the awarded proposal.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to the Brownsville Independent School District located at 3760 Robindale Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a Federal Communication Commission (FCC) License as part of their proposal submission. Additionally, Form 1295 must be completed online through the Texas Ethics Commission website without notarization.
