Background
The City of Stillwater/Stillwater Utilities Authority is issuing a solicitation for the supply and delivery of water treatment chemicals to support its Water Treatment Plant. The goal of this contract is to ensure the provision of necessary chemicals that meet safety and quality standards for drinking water treatment, in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for supplying and delivering various water treatment chemicals, including: - Anhydrous Ammonia (Bulk, Liquid) - Chlorine Gas (One-ton containers, Liquified gas, minimum 99.5% purity) - Liquid Ferric Sulfate (Bulk, Liquid) - Sodium Fluoride (50 lb. bags, Granular/bagged) - Lime Calcium Oxide (Bulk, minimum Calcium Oxide content of no less than 97.9%) - Liquid Oxygen (LOX) for Ozone Generation (Bulk, Liquified gas) - Polymer (Coagulant aid) (Diallyldimethylammonium Chloride) (Bulk, Liquid) - 40% Liquid Ammonium Sulfate (Density = 10.24 lb/gal., Bulk, Liquid) - 25% Sodium Hydroxide (Density = 10.68 lb/gal., Bulk, Liquid) - 40% Sodium Hexametaphosphate (Density = 10.5 lb/gal., 275 gallon totes, Liquid) - 100% Carbon Dioxide (Bulk, One-ton containers, Liquified gas, minimum 99.5% purity). All chemicals must meet ANSI/AWWA and NSF-60 Standards for Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals. The contractor must also provide training on proper handling of these chemicals if requested by the City.
Period of Performance
The initial contract term is one fiscal year through June 30, 2024, with options to extend for three successive one-year terms upon mutual written consent.
Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the City of Stillwater Water Treatment Plant located at 1022 W Yost Road, Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state safety regulations and requirements. They are required to provide a minimum of one two-hour training session at the Water Treatment Plant if requested. Bidders must also include all costs associated with delivery in their bids.
