Powerbreak Retrofit: Suburban Station Rebid

Background

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is issuing this solicitation for the Powerbreak Retrofit at Suburban Station. The goal of this contract is to enhance the electrical infrastructure by retrofitting existing circuit breakers to improve reliability and safety in the station's operations.

Work Details

The work includes the furnishing and installation of ABB/GE Power Break I to Power Break II Circuit Breakers as a retrofit for the T-Basement signal gear at Suburban Station. This involves all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the installation as specified in the contract documents.

Period of Performance

The contract duration is 185 calendar days from the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Suburban Station, located in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with the PA Steel Products Act and the Buy America Act. All bidders are required to certify compliance with Executive Order 12549 regarding ineligible contractors. Disadvantaged business enterprises must be afforded full opportunity to submit bids without discrimination based on race, sex, color, or national origin.
