Taxiway B Asphalt Rehabilitation

Scope of Work

The contract work involves the comprehensive rehabilitation of Taxiway B at San Diego International Airport. The primary objective is to remove and replace the deteriorated asphalt pavement along Taxiway B. The specific tasks to be completed include: - Asphalt pavement milling and overlay - Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and dust control - Mobilization and demobilization - Installation and removal of temporary construction barricades - Signage and markings - Temporary erosion control - Asphalt shoulder rehabilitation - Installation of pavement markings The project is divided into five distinct phases along Taxiway B, between Taxiways B4 and B1:

Phase 1

Taxiway full width 3-inch mill

Phase 2

Taxiway middle fifty (50) feet (keel section), 4-inch mill & overlay

Phase 3

Taxiway full width 3-inch overlay

Phase 4

Asphalt Shoulder Repair

Phase 5

Pavement Marking
