Work Requested

The County of Stanislaus is seeking qualified and experienced Environmental Consultants, including subcontractors, to provide comprehensive environmental review services for its Planning & Community Development department. The scope of work includes: - Full environmental review services in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). - NEPA services will focus on federal U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funded infrastructure and housing projects. - Preparation of joint CEQA and NEPA environmental assessments for federally funded projects, as required. - Support for complex land use entitlement application projects and projects requiring special studies. - Preparation of documents such as Mitigated Negative Declarations, Environmental Impact Reports (EIR), Addendums, or Supplements. - Specialized studies, which may include (but are not limited to): Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT), Greenhouse Gases, Noise, and Health Risk Assessments.

Requesting Agency

The County of Stanislaus, specifically its Planning & Community Development department located at 1010 10th Street Suite 3400, Modesto, CA 95354, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP).

Background

This RFP is issued to identify and select firms capable of providing environmental consulting services necessary for compliance with state and federal environmental regulations, particularly for projects funded by HUD. The County anticipates the need for these services on complex projects and those requiring specialized environmental studies.

Contract Requirements

The successful proposer must: - Meet all requirements and expectations outlined in the RFP. - Comply with all general contractual and insurance requirements mandated by the County ("Terms and Conditions"). - Note that terms and conditions may be modified during the RFP process.

Additional Information

Award of the contract may be made to the proposer whose proposal provides the greatest overall benefit to the County, taking into consideration all evaluation criteria specified in the RFP.
