Research Consulting Services

Background

The University of South Carolina is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide a comprehensive range of Research and Grant related consulting services tailored for higher education. The goal of this contract is to enhance the university's capabilities in securing and managing research funding effectively.

Work Details

The services required under this contract include: 1. Proposal Development Consulting: a. Assessing available resources to meet project goals. b. Describing necessary activities, resources, equipment, and materials for project objectives along with timeframes. c. Assisting in presenting requests to potential grant funders. d. Coordination with the Office of Sponsored Awards Management. e. Quantifying required resources (labor, equipment, materials) and calculating total costs for each resource type. f. Creating project budgets and overseeing implementation. g. Providing graphic design services for proposals including figures, timelines, organizational charts, and data visualizations. h. Other pre-award administration activities. 2. Funded Research and Grant Consulting: a. Supporting post-award administration including communication, dissemination, and stakeholder engagement. b. Assisting with grant reporting and outreach goals. c. Providing graphic design services for visual abstracts, infographics, presentation materials, and reports compliant with university policies. d. Developing comprehensive plans and regulatory strategies, business planning, data collection, and analysis.

Period of Performance

The estimated period of performance for the contract is from June 1, 2026 to September 3, 2030, with an initial term of one year and four one-year options to renew.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the University of South Carolina located in Columbia, SC.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must have at least three years of experience providing similar consulting services and must have completed a minimum of five comparable projects in the past three years.
