Work Details

The contractor will provide the following services: 1. Routine preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on-site at the County's Public Health Laboratory. 2. Non-routine maintenance and repair services for pipettes, timers, and thermometers as specified in the pricing schedule. 3. Use of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts for all repairs. 4. Compliance with safety requirements during service delivery. 5. Provision of service records including contract number, date of service, description of services performed, materials used, equipment model and serial number, itemized parts or additional labor, and technician's name. 6. Emergency response within two hours for urgent issues with lab equipment.

Period of Performance

The initial contract term is anticipated to be from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with four one-year options thereafter.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at the County of San Diego’s Public Health Laboratory located in San Diego, California.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have at least three years of experience in the last seven years performing similar services. Subcontractors must have a minimum of two years' experience on the types of equipment listed in the pricing schedule. Bidders are encouraged to submit a Small-Local Business Self-Certification Form.
