The County of San Diego is seeking quotes from qualified firms to provide one (1) 2026 or newer Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew Cab Truck or a County approved equivalent with partition outfitting. This request is part of the County's ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance its fleet for operational efficiency.

Work Details

The contractor will provide a base vehicle that includes: 1. Model: 2026 or Newer/Unused Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew Cab Truck or County Approved Equivalent. 2. Powertrain: 3.5 V6 EcoBoost Engine or equivalent with 4x4 Drive. 3. Bed Length: Short Bed (66-70 Inches) or Standard Bed (78-79.44 Inches). 4. Exterior Color: White Only. 5. Interior Color: Black or Dark Gray Only. 6. Tonneau Pickup Box Cover – Retractable. 7. Tow/Haul Package and Tough Bed® Spray-In bedliner, conforming to Federal and California emissions standards, with three programmed keys provided. Outfitting requirements include: 1. One partition installed between the front and rear seats, specifically a Setina #10VS RP Coated Poly Partition or equivalent. 2. Emergency vehicle lights including: - One SoundOff Signal handheld controller and various mounting components. - A 100-Watt speaker and siren speaker mounting bracket. - Interior LED lightbar and exterior mini LED lightbar with specific models listed. - Strobe lights for headlights and taillights, with specific models listed. 3. Contractor must register vehicles as exempt with the DMV, provide updates on status, and ensure all outfitting is completed prior to delivery.

Period of Performance

Delivery of the outfitted vehicle must occur no later than September 18, 2026.

Place of Performance

Delivery location is primarily at County of San Diego, DGS Fleet Services, located at 5610 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws including licensing requirements and must not be debarred from contracting with public agencies. Additionally, contractors are encouraged to complete a Small-Local Business Self-Certification Form.
