The goal of the contract is to provide comprehensive engineering services that support NASA's mission and infrastructure needs. Work Details The scope of work includes providing Architect-Engineer (A-E) services for engineering infrastructure, equipment, and facilities. Key tasks include: 1. Specialized experience in engineering analysis and design across various disciplines such as civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural services. 2. Civil engineering tasks include water distribution, wastewater collection, stormwater management, traffic signals, security systems, geotechnical evaluations, and associated infrastructure. 3. Structural engineering tasks involve designing movable structures like cranes and launch structures, port facility structures, foundations, and bridges. 4. Mechanical engineering focuses on HVAC systems, fire protection systems, environmental control systems, and clean rooms. 5. Electrical engineering encompasses power distribution systems, emergency power generation, renewable energy technologies, lighting systems, and electronic security systems. 6. Architectural services should include multi-discipline facility design with an emphasis on life safety and sustainable design practices. 7. Additional responsibilities include conducting field investigations/surveys; preparing engineering reports; creating designs/specifications suitable for bidding; providing construction site inspection; performing computer-aided design; writing specifications; estimating costs; and ensuring compliance with building codes through third-party reviews. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2031. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), Stennis Space Center (SSC), Johnson Space Center (JSC), Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), including Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF), with potential performance at other NASA assets nationwide.
