Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for construction work at Theodore Roosevelt National Park, specifically to replace the boundary fence in the North Unit Zone 1. The park is located approximately 25 miles south/southwest of Watford City, North Dakota. The goal of this contract is to ensure the integrity and security of park boundaries through the installation of new fencing. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Installation of a new boundary fence, including approximately 1300 linear feet of new fence as part of Bid Option 1 and an additional 450 linear feet as part of Bid Option 2. 2. Installation of new suspended fence crossings. 3. All work must comply with the specifications outlined in the Statement of Work and associated drawings provided in the solicitation documents. 4. The contractor must also adhere to wage rate requirements as per the Davis Bacon Act, ensuring that all laborers are compensated according to federal wage standards. Period of Performance The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award and complete it within 320 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed. If Bid Option 1 is awarded, an additional 60 calendar days will be added; if Bid Option 2 is awarded, an additional 30 calendar days will be added. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at Theodore Roosevelt National Park, specifically in the North Unit Zone 1, located approximately 25 miles south/southwest of Watford City, North Dakota.
