Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation to procure and install new anti-microbial shelving units for the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC). The existing shelving units are at the end of their life cycle and do not meet operational needs. This contract is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Work Details The contractor will provide and install the following items: - Twenty (20) Antimicrobial aluminum shelving units (24" W x 48" D x 73" H) - Twenty-One (21) Stainless steel shelving units (48" W x 24" D x 63" H) - Additional components include: - 41 casters with brakes - 84 donut bumpers, NSF approved, 3" diameter - 80 fall arresting bars, wire, 48" W - 160 plastic label holder clips, horizontal - 160 clear label covers, flat All shelving must be factory assembled prior to shipping unless access prevents it. The contractor must ensure that all units are fully operational upon installation and provide a minimum warranty of ten years against rust/corrosion. Period of Performance All deliverables shall be delivered and installed no later than 30 days after receipt of order.
