Work Details The contractor will be responsible for furnishing one fully crewed and equipped self-propelled trailing suction type hopper dredge. The work will primarily take place in the Mississippi River and Southwest Pass, with potential operations extending to other areas within and outside of the New Orleans District. The project magnitude is estimated between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. Key tasks include: - Daily inspections to ensure safety requirements are met. - Submission of an Accident Prevention Plan including various safety forms such as ENG Form 6206 (Activity Hazard Analysis), ENG Form 6292 (Site-Specific Safety & Occupational Health Plan Worksheet), ENG Form 6293 (Accident Prevention Plan Worksheet), and ENG Form 6282 (Site Safety and Health Officer Designation Letter). - Development of a Dive Plan addressing safety protocols for diving operations. - Erection and maintenance of safety signs at designated locations. - Construction of a Project Sign identifying the work with the Corps of Engineers. - Provision of two means of escape for personnel on floating plants.
