Telfair County Recreation Complex Construction and Improvements

Background

The Telfair County Board of Commissioners is issuing a solicitation for the construction of improvements at the Telfair County Recreation Park. The goal of this contract is to enhance recreational facilities and infrastructure to better serve the community.

Work Details

The work under this contract includes: - +/- 525 LF of 18” RCP storm drain pipe and structures; - +/- 596 SY of 4” thick concrete; - +/- 13,792 SF of seal coat and striping of the existing parking lot; - construction of an outdoor basketball court; - four pickleball courts; - renovations to multiple onsite buildings; - a new 30’x24’ split face block bathroom building with a septic system; - new grassed Tee Ball fields; - +/- 1,190 LF of black vinyl coated chain link fence; - installation of sod and bleachers; - a custom overhead tie back canopy net; - a batting cage on a 65’x70’ concrete slab; and other improvements as shown in the plans necessary for the proper construction of the park.

Period of Performance

All work on the project must be completed within 150 consecutive calendar days from the date of notice to proceed.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed at the Telfair County Recreation Park located in McRae-Helena, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bids must be sealed and submitted to Telfair County prior to the specified time, accompanied by a Bidder's Bond payable to Telfair County for 10 percent of the bid amount. Bidders must also provide Payment Bond, Performance Bond, and Insurance Certificates. No bids will be considered unless these requirements are met.
