Landscape Maintenance Services

Background

Williamson County, Texas, seeks to establish a contract for Landscape Maintenance Services for its owned premises. The County aims to acquire qualified and experienced respondents to submit proposals that address pricing, qualifications, capacity to service the County’s facilities, availability, approach, experience, and other factors necessary for successful service delivery. The County reserves the right to obtain services from other sources or perform them in-house as needed.

Work Details

The contractor will provide comprehensive landscape maintenance services across various Williamson County facilities. This includes but is not limited to: - Mowing - Trimming - Planting - Weeding - Mulching - Fertilizing - Pest control - Irrigation system maintenance - Seasonal clean-up. Specific sites and detailed requirements are outlined in Attachment N - Williamson County Building List. The contractor will respond to requests for quotes when specific landscaping needs arise and negotiate fees and scope of work through Purchase Orders or Service Contracts.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will commence on October 1, 2026, and expire on September 30, 2027. There are provisions for four additional one-year renewals contingent upon mutual agreement and funding appropriations by the Commissioners Court.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at various locations owned by Williamson County throughout the county.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must maintain proper licensing and comply with all federal, state, and local laws related to the specified services. For contracts exceeding $100,000.00, a bid bond of 5% of the total contract price is required. Respondents must also provide a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and may need to disclose any existing or potential conflicts of interest.
