Background

The County of Greenville is seeking proposals from vendors to provide support for the County’s Information Systems Division. The goal of this contract is to ensure continuous operational support for critical County systems and services, specifically through 24/7 Microsoft, Virtual Machines, and Network Support. The County intends to enter into a one-year contract with the possibility of four annual renewals based on satisfactory performance.

Work Details

The contractor will provide comprehensive managed support services across various infrastructure disciplines including virtualization, enterprise networking, cybersecurity, identity management, hybrid cloud integration, data center operations, and midrange systems. Specific requirements include: - **Virtualization & End-User Compute Support**: 24x7 monitoring and support (L1–L3), high availability capabilities, performance optimization, patch management, backup validation, disaster recovery testing. - **Enterprise Network Infrastructure Support**: Full Layer 1–3 network support including routing protocol support and network automation. - **Cybersecurity Infrastructure Support**: Management of next-generation firewalls and encryption platforms with continuous vulnerability management. - **Security Monitoring & Detection**: 24x7 security monitoring with incident response capabilities. - **Network Management & Observability**: End-to-end monitoring across network and compute resources with real-time alerting. - **WAN Architecture & Connectivity**: Design and optimization of multi-site WANs with QoS implementation. - **Identity & Access Management**: Implementation of multi-factor authentication and role-based access control. - **Data Center Infrastructure Management**: Operational support for data center hardware including lifecycle management and environmental monitoring.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed on June 19, 2026, lasting for one year with the option for four annual renewals.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations within Greenville County as required by the Information Systems Division.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must comply with all applicable insurance requirements including general liability and workers' compensation. They must also adhere to South Carolina laws regarding business licensing. Additionally, vendors are encouraged to involve small, disadvantaged, and minority businesses in fulfilling their contracts.
