As-Needed Concrete Services - Districtwide Rebid

Background

Richland School District Two is seeking to competitively obtain bids for as-needed concrete services across various school campuses and administrative facilities. The goal of this solicitation is to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes while providing necessary concrete installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance services.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary for the following services: - Installation of new concrete surfaces - Replacement, patching, and repair of damaged concrete - Removal and disposal of existing concrete - Pouring, finishing, and curing concrete - Installation of sidewalks, slabs, ramps, pads, walkways, steps, small foundations - ADA-compliant slope corrections and ramp installation - Concrete resurfacing - Curb and gutter installation or repair - Drainage-related concrete work - Site preparation, grading, forming - Saw cutting and demolition related to concrete work - Emergency or time-sensitive concrete repairs. All work must comply with local building codes and safety regulations.

Period of Performance

The contract will begin on the date specified in the official Statement of Award for one year with an option to renew for four additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various school campuses and administrative facilities throughout Richland School District Two.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess required licenses through the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (SCLLR). They must provide three references from similar work completed within the past five years and have at least five years of experience in providing similar services preferably with public agencies or commercial projects. Proof of general liability insurance is also required.
