Background

The City of Tampa's Parks & Recreation Department is issuing an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for grounds maintenance of Downtown Parks and other city-owned properties. The goal of this contract is to ensure the upkeep of parks, playgrounds, and landscape beds, aligning with the department's mission to maintain safe and attractive public spaces.

Work Details

The awarded contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and means necessary for the maintenance work. This includes turf mowing and maintenance as well as care for all landscape beds. The work must be performed to the highest quality standards as directed by a representative from the Parks and Recreation Department. The contractor must also clean up the work area during maintenance and repair any damage caused during the work at their own expense.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective for one year from the award date, with options for three additional one-year renewals based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

The maintenance services will be performed at various locations throughout Downtown Tampa and other city-owned properties as specified in the bid proposal.

Bidder Requirements
