Background

The Salem-Keizer School District is undertaking the CTEC (Career and Technical Education Center) project, which focuses on ADA upgrades to enhance accessibility. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with ADA standards through various construction and renovation activities at the CTEC facility located at 3501 Portland Road NE, Salem, Oregon.

Work Details

The project involves multiple divisions of work including: - **Demolition**: Selective demolition of existing structures as necessary for alterations, including salvaging items for reuse or recycling. - **Concrete Work**: Formwork for cast-in-place concrete, including shoring, bracing, and anchorage. The formwork must comply with ACI standards and be designed to achieve specified shapes and dimensions. - **Finishes**: Installation of gypsum board assemblies, resilient flooring, exterior and interior painting, and high-performance coatings. - **Plumbing**: Installation of plumbing fixtures and piping systems as per specifications. - **Earthwork**: Site clearing and earth moving to prepare for construction activities. - **Exterior Improvements**: Asphalt paving, concrete paving, joint sealants, and pavement markings.

Period of Performance

The contract work is scheduled to commence in May 2026.
