Work Details

The contractor will perform a comprehensive Lead Based Paint Inspection and Risk Assessment at the property located at 2718 E 8th St, Lubbock, TX 79403. The work includes: 1. Drawing and layout of the house with measurements of all rooms and labeling each. 2. Dust wipe sampling from each room's floor and window sills using an NLLAP accredited laboratory. 3. Soil sampling from each side of the house if bare soil exists and from any play area. 4. Providing a summary notice of the inspection results along with all XRF and lab results, including performance characteristics sheets for the XRF device used. 5. Delivering a paper copy of the inspection report to the homeowner and obtaining their signature on the 'Notice of Evaluation' form, which must be included in the final report. 6. Sending a PDF copy of the entire report to the Community Development Department, including the signed notice.

Period of Performance

The contractor must commence work upon receiving a written 'Notice to Proceed' and complete all tasks within 4 weeks from that date.
