Work Requested

The County is seeking an authorized reseller or distributor to supply Phoenix LED floodlights that meet the County's standards for heavy duty port operations. These floodlights are required to support lighting needs for post Panamax gantry cranes and newly manufactured ship to shore cranes. - The specific product required is the EcoMod 3 Series (277-480 Voltage) PHOENIX LED Floodlights.

Background

This Request for Information (RFI) serves as a Notice of Intent to Designate a Sole Source/Sole Brand. The purpose is to determine whether the specified commodity or service is available from multiple providers, or if an alternative exists that meets the County's needs. This is not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment.

Contract Requirements

The County requires the EcoMod 3 Series (277-480 Voltage) PHOENIX LED Floodlights, as it is believed to be the only commodity/service that meets the County's operational needs.

Submission Instructions

Prospective vendors are invited to provide information about their ability to supply the specified commodity or service, or submit a written explanation or documentation contesting the proposed sole brand designation. Responses must be submitted through the electronic bidding system. Vendors should upload any supporting documentation as part of their response to help the County determine if the commodity or service is comparable, available from multiple suppliers, and meets the County's requirements. The Director of Purchasing will have sole authority in deciding what is considered comparable. All submittals will be reviewed, and the Director of Purchasing will notify vendors accordingly. This RFI will remain open until the specified closing date and time.
