ADA Software

Background

The City of Punta Gorda, Florida, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the development and/or provision of a software system to assist with compliance inspections related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The goal of this contract is to ensure that the city meets its obligations under ADA regulations.

Work Details

The selected vendor will be responsible for developing or providing a software system specifically designed to assist with ADA compliance inspections. This includes functionalities that facilitate tracking, reporting, and managing compliance-related activities. The software should be user-friendly and capable of generating reports that meet regulatory requirements.

Period of Performance

The initial contract period is set for three (3) years, with the possibility of extension at the discretion of the City. Price adjustments during subsequent years will be based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

Place of Performance

The services will be performed in Punta Gorda, Florida, where the software will be implemented to assist city officials in conducting ADA compliance inspections.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered vendors with the City of Punta Gorda and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. They are required to utilize the E-Verify system to verify employment eligibility for all new employees. Additionally, bidders must adhere to non-discrimination policies as outlined in Title VI of The Civil Rights Act of 1964.
