It is requested that all interested parties who can provide the required items to respond with a Capability Statement. The Capability Statement shall also include the following information: (1) Company name, address, and point of contact, CAGE code and UEI number. (2) Business size for NAICS Code 811210. (3) Budgetary estimated cost and lead-time for market research purposes. (4) Industry commentary on the current version of the purchase description (PD). Responses of this notice shall be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist, Brian Staub, via email at brian.a.staub2.civ@us.navy.mil no later than response date and time of this notice. Email should reference Sources Sought Notice N6426726Q4062 in the subject line. The information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a small business, socioeconomic set-aside, competitive or non-competitive method is possible, and to determine the availability of qualified companies technically capable of meeting the Government's requirement. All organizations with the capability and availability to perform the requirement under the applicable NAICS code are invited to submit a response to this notice. Background The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Measurement Science Department, Code MS35, requires evaluation calibration services for accelerometers to support the Navy Calibration Standards Program. This program is essential for providing Test and Measurement Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) and associated components to the Navy Calibration Labs. The accelerometers serve as calibration standards for vibration measurement systems, and timely servicing is critical to maintain operational readiness and prevent delays in calibration support for fleet operations. Failure to service these assets could adversely affect calibration capabilities and mission readiness. Work Details The contractor shall provide accredited calibration services for the following accelerometers: - Model: 353B04 (Primary Accelerometer) with a calibration range of 5 Hz to 20 kHz using laser interferometry. - Model: Q353B51 (Low-Frequency Transfer Standard) with a calibration range of 0.1 Hz to 4000 Hz. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the calibration process. Calibration must be performed using laser interferometry where applicable, and the contractor must ensure that accreditation standards are met (A2LA or equivalent). Additionally, the contractor shall provide calibration certificates and data in disk or electronic format and notify the government of any out-of-tolerance conditions.
