Background The Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) at Parris Island, SC is undertaking a project to demolish Mess Hall building 926 as part of a Depot reconsolidation initiative. The goal of this contract is to ensure the removal of all food preparation, sanitation, and dining equipment from the building prior to its demolition. Work Details The contractor will provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials for the disassembly and removal of kitchen equipment. The specific tasks include: 1. Disconnecting equipment from existing utilities. 2. Removing equipment from the location. 3. Transporting equipment for disposal. 4. All waste associated with the movement must be removed by the contractor. 5. All equipment must be disposed of at the vendor's expense. A site survey was conducted on April 6, 2026.
