Background The contract is issued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to obtain grounds maintenance services for the Memphis Internal Revenue Service/Enterprise Computer Center Campus (MIRSC), located at 5333 Getwell Road, Memphis, TN. The goal of this performance-based contract is to maintain the facility's grounds, which encompass 109 acres of various landscapes including lawns, trees, ponds, and natural areas. The contract is structured to ensure quality standards are met through defined service areas: Basic Services and Additional Services. Work Details The Contractor shall provide comprehensive supervision, administrative and technical support, equipment, labor, management, materials, personnel, subcontractors, supplies, tools, and transportation necessary for effective completion of all services. Basic Services will be provided at a firm-fixed monthly price and include tasks such as grass cutting (maintaining a uniform height not exceeding 4 inches), edging sidewalks and driveways to maintain clear zones, plant and shrub pruning to sustain healthy appearance, fertilization, weed eradication, irrigation maintenance, and debris removal. Additional Services will be ordered separately on an as-needed basis with no guarantee of orders being placed. The Contractor must submit a schedule of monthly grounds maintenance services within 30 days after contract award and prior to each option period. Quality control inspections must be conducted by the Contractor to ensure compliance with performance standards.
