This Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), a Request for Quotation (RFQ), or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Furthermore, the U.S. Army is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense.

Background

The Maine Army National Guard Medical Detachment currently has two Midmark Ultratrim Dental Chairs with internal umbilical and console mount, with L/R conversion 115s. Requirement: The Maine Army National Guard has a requirement to procure dental equipment, including delivery systems, sterilization equipment, and specialized endodontic handpieces. Items 1-4 of this requirement are strictly "Brand Name" (Midmark) as they must integrate and be installed directly onto the Government's existing Midmark dental chairs to ensure mechanical and electrical compatibility. Delivery of CLINs 0001-0012. CLINs 0001 through 0004 will be installed by the contractor onto the existing chairs mentioned above. Items 5-12 will be a routine delivery/acceptance at FOB Destination. Place of Performance will be Augusta Maine, 04330; The government does not anticipate the full week necessary for installation, period of performance will allow the vendor to determine the overall workload needed to perform the task. INFORMATION REQUESTED FROM INDUSTRY Interested vendors are requested to submit a capability statement addressing the following:

Authorized Reseller Status

Confirmation that the vendor is an authorized reseller/distributor for Midmark, SciCan, J. Morita, and KaVo equipment (to ensure warranty coverage). Capability & Lead Times: Estimated delivery lead times and installation (items 1-4) for the requested items and confirmation that the proposed lubrication system (Item 6) will natively support both J.
