Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for the Pond Area Improvement Project (550-24-109) at the Veterans Affairs Illiana Healthcare System (VAIHCS) located in Danville, Illinois. The goal of this contract is to renovate and improve the pond area in accordance with VA standards and specifications. This project is set aside for 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business firms, as per the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8127. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, management, supervision, and other resources necessary to complete the renovation and improvement of the pond area as specified in the project drawings and specifications. All work must adhere to professional standard practices and VA standards. The contractor is required to coordinate directly with the Facility Management Service at VAIHCS prior to commencing work. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is estimated to be 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed on the campus of the Veterans Affairs Illiana Healthcare System (VAIHCS) located at 1900 East Main Street, Danville, IL 61832.
