Background The Department of Veterans Affairs, Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (OBVAMC), is seeking to procure Storage Units Services to support its medical, administrative, logistics, and emergency preparedness operations. The goal of this contract is to provide secure, climate-controlled off-site and/or on-site storage facilities for managing overflow inventory, supplies, equipment staging, home and bed kits, mattresses, tents with poles, and housing support materials and equipment. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Work Details The Contractor shall provide secure storage space, facility maintenance, environmental controls, access management, and inventory support services to ensure safeguarding and integrity of Government-owned property. Specific tasks include: - Providing six (6) storage units to store mattresses, home and bed kits, tents with poles, veterans' equipment and supplies. - Providing three (3) storage units within 20 miles of the main facility in Bossier City, LA: two (2) units that are 10 x 25 feet and one (1) unit that is 10 x 20 feet. - Providing one (1) 10 x 25 unit within 20 miles of CBOC Monroe, LA. - Providing one (1) 10 x 25 unit within 20 miles of CBOC Longview, TX. - Providing one (1) 10 x 25 unit within 20 miles of CBOC Texarkana, TX. Performance requirements include: - Clean, dry storage space with temperature maintained between 60°F–80°F and humidity not exceeding 60%. - ADA-compliant access with adequate lighting and covered loading/unloading areas. - Security measures including a monitored security system and controlled access. - Fire protection systems compliant with local codes.
