Scope of Work

The contract work involves the following key tasks: - Removal and replacement of the existing pump station interior suction and discharge piping. - Replacement of valves, meters, pressure instruments, and all related ancillary features. - Electrical system improvements. - Upgrades to instrumentation, telemetry, and control systems.

Background

The project, titled Pump Station 6 (PS6) Improvements, is intended to upgrade and modernize the infrastructure and systems within the existing pump station.

Contract Requirements

- All work must be performed as specified, including the removal and replacement of mechanical and electrical components, and improvements to control and telemetry systems.

Instructions on Submission

- The District does not accept hard copy bids; all bidding is conducted electronically through Planet Bids. - All document submissions must be made via the electronic system. - The Bidder's Bond page must be completed and submitted with the bid, along with a copy of the Bid Bond. - All required forms must be completed and submitted with the bid. - Bid results will be available online through Planet Bids once tabulated. Contractors are responsible for reviewing the results on the Planet Bids platform. - An electronic copy of the Bid Bond is required with the bid submission, and a hard copy must be delivered to the District Offices in Laguna Beach by the end of the day on the bid closing date.
