Background

The City-County of Butte-Silver Bow is seeking sealed bids for the procurement of a new lowboy trailer as part of its public works operations. The goal of this contract is to enhance the heavy equipment fleet used by the Roads Division, ensuring efficient transportation and handling of materials.

Wheel Seals

Stemco with Grit Guard and External Easy Access Brake Drain - Lighting: DOT Rubber Mounted LED Lights with Sealed Harness, including a third tail light with strobes and rubber anti-spray mud flaps. The trailer must be painted black using PPG two-part polyurethane and primer, and include a wide load sign pocket.

Period of Performance

The delivery of the lowboy trailer must occur within 30 days from the date of contract award, which is anticipated to be on May 20th, 2026.

Place of Performance

The trailer will be delivered to the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow at the following address: 93 Beef Trail Road, Butte, Montana.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a bid security amounting to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid proposal in acceptable forms such as lawful U.S. currency, cashier’s check, certified check, or a bid bond executed by a surety corporation authorized in Montana. Successful bidders are required to obtain a Butte-Silver Bow Business License prior to contract award.
