Dell HYCU Secure Backup Solution

Background

The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) is issuing this Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) for a Dell HYCU Secure Backup Solution. The goal of this contract is to replace MVA’s existing NetApp backup solution with a secure backup solution that provides immutable storage to protect critical data from ransomware and other cyber threats. This procurement is limited to Master Contractors only, specifically those awarded contracts under the Hardware and Associated Equipment and Services 2012, 060B2490022.

Work Details

The contract includes the provision of hardware and associated services as follows: 1. **Hardware**: Dell PowerScale A3100 including various components such as L3 ISE Nodes, SSDs, transceivers, and licenses for OneFS and SmartQuotas. Specific quantities include 4 units of each listed hardware item. 2. **Installation/Training Services**: One day remote consultation service and one day remote training and education service on HYCU. 3. **Manufacturer's Extended Warranty**: A certificate acknowledging coverage details for Dell products. 4. **Special Requirements**: New equipment must be purchased; no restocking fees for damaged or incorrect items; estimated ship dates must be provided; bids must include Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP); a Mercury Affidavit is required.

Period of Performance

The period of performance for this contract is expected to commence upon award and continue until all products are delivered and services rendered, with specific due dates for deliverables set for June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed at the Office of Information Resource (OIR), located at One Orchard Road, Glen Burnie, MD 21060.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be Master Contractors under the specified Hardware Master Contract. They must provide a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the manufacturer if requested, include a screenshot of MSRP with their bid, and submit a Mercury Affidavit. Bidders must also comply with Small Business Reserve requirements if applicable.
