Renovate Building and Site Improvements

Background

The State of Illinois, through the Capital Development Board, is seeking contractors for the renovation of the Crenshaw House State Historic Site located in Equality, Gallatin County. The goal of this contract is to improve and rehabilitate the building and its surrounding site, with a total project cost estimated to be less than $3,500,000.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for general remodeling and rehabilitation work on the Crenshaw House. Bidders must comply with MBE/WBE subcontracting and supplier goals. A prebid meeting is mandatory on May 20, 2026. The project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA).
