Industrial Hygiene Analytical Laboratory Services

Background

The State of Nevada, Department of Business and Industry (B&I), Division of Industrial Relations (DIR) is soliciting proposals for Industrial Hygiene Laboratory Services. The goal is to engage qualified vendors who can provide laboratory analysis to monitor employee exposure to hazardous chemicals, thereby supporting the health and safety mission of the agency.

Work Details

The contractor will provide Industrial Hygiene Laboratory Analysis, including written reports for monitoring employee exposure to hazardous chemicals. Services include: 1) Providing sorbent tubes, filter cassettes, and impinge solutions; 2) Conducting laboratory analysis of samples taken during inspections/investigations related to health hazards such as asbestos, mold, and silica; 3) Delivering analysis and reports necessary for OSHA citations and other regulatory compliance; 4) Ensuring a five-business day turnaround time for most analyses with additional charges for expedited services; 5) Assigning a dedicated account manager for technical inquiries and providing customer service during normal business hours.

Period of Performance

The contract is anticipated to commence on July 1, 2026, following approval from the Board of Examiners, and will last for a four-year period.

Place of Performance

Services will be provided statewide within Nevada.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must have AIHA Laboratory Accreditations in good standing, a valid Nevada Business License in good standing, and meet insurance requirements detailed in Attachment BB.
