Towing Services

Background

Clackamas County is seeking multiple towing service providers to offer towing and storage services within the County. These providers will contract directly with the County’s Dispatch Service Provider under a non-exclusive agreement. The goal is to establish multiple Tow Contracts with various towing and storage service providers who comply with the conditions of this RFQ, allowing them to be included on rotational tow lists maintained by the County for public requests.

Work Details

Contractors are required to furnish towing services when requested by the County and Sheriff’s Office, adhering strictly to all rules and directives. Services include: - All types of vehicle towing - Winching and recovery - Dollying - Securing unstable loads - Cleanup at accident scenes - Storage - Disposal of unclaimed vehicles Contractors must have at least one tow truck and driver available for each tow zone they are authorized in, plus a spare truck. All trucks must pass annual inspections by the Sheriff’s Office. The contractor will also be responsible for cleaning up accident scenes using appropriate materials and equipment as specified in the contract.

Period of Performance
