2026 Residence Life Summer Maintenance Program

Background

The Office of Residence Life and Housing is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance services for multiple residence hall facilities during the summer of 2026. The goal is to ensure that all preventative maintenance, repairs, and limited renovations are completed efficiently and effectively, aligning with the agency's mission to provide quality living conditions for students.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, and supervision to perform the following tasks: 1. Preventative maintenance on all residence hall facilities. 2. Repairs as needed across various systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC). 3. Limited renovations which may include painting, flooring updates, and fixture replacements. All work must be completed by July 31, 2026.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed during the summer of 2026, with a completion deadline set for July 31, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will take place at various residence hall facilities managed by the Office of Residence Life and Housing.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate good faith efforts to achieve Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation goals as outlined in the solicitation documents. This includes submitting MBE Utilization and Fair Solicitation Affidavit & MBE Participation Schedule with their bid proposal.
