Background

The Central Management Services (CMS) of the State of Illinois is issuing this solicitation to establish a 5 Day Janitorial Contract for the facility located at 300 N. 13th St., Murphysboro, IL 62966. The purpose of this contract is to provide janitorial services necessary for maintaining safety, health, and performance within state facilities that do not have employed janitorial staff. This is a Small Business Set Aside (SBSA) solicitation aimed at vendors registered in the Illinois Procurement Gateway (IPG).

Work Details

The vendor will provide janitorial services five days a week after normal working hours, which include: thorough cleaning of restrooms with disinfectants, replenishing consumables like toilet paper and soap, mopping floors with cleaning solutions, vacuuming carpets, emptying wastebaskets with proper liners, collecting recyclable waste, cleaning mirrors and lunchroom areas, and maintaining cleanliness in entryways and outdoor areas. Specific tasks include: - Daily: Clean restrooms, replenish supplies, mop floors, vacuum carpets, empty wastebaskets.

Twice Weekly

Clean entryway glass and pick up outdoor debris. - Weekly: Spray buff tile areas and clean elevator floors. - Semi-Annually: Shampoo carpets and wash blinds.

As Needed

Perform additional janitorial duties as agreed upon with the CMS Facility Manager. All cleaning products must be environmentally preferable.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on October 1, 2026, and will continue until September 30, 2029.

All services will be performed at the facility located at 300 N. 13th St., Murphysboro, IL 62966.

Bidder Requirements
