Unisex Double-Knit Pique Polos (Sizes Small 7X) Supply and Delivery for Columbus Sewing Plant

Background

The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to establish an Agency Specific Term Contract for the supply and delivery of Unisex Double-Knit Pique Polos in sizes Small to 7X for the Columbus Sewing Plant. This contract aims to meet the needs of the NCDAC's Correction Enterprises Sewing Plant, which processes products and services to fulfill customer requirements. The contract will be awarded for a period of three years, but the State does not guarantee any minimum or maximum order quantities.

Work Details

The contractor will provide Unisex Double-Knit Pique Polos in various colors including White, Royal Blue, Red, Navy Blue (with and without pockets), Gray, Charcoal Gray, Black, Olive, Sand, Pink, Turquoise, Pewter, Carolina Blue, and Emerald Green. The total estimated quantities are as follows: - 15,000 Small - 30,000 Medium - 30,000 Large - 30,000 XL - 30,000 2X - 30,000 3X - 30,000 4X - 30,000 5X - 15,000 6X - 15,000 7X. The polos must be made from 100% Polyester Double Knit Pique fabric with a weight of 5.4 oz per square yard. They should be fade-resistant and moisture-wicking with specific construction features such as ribbed collars and a traditional three-button placket. Samples of each size and color must be submitted prior to bid opening.

Period of Performance

The contract will have an initial term of three years starting from the date of final contract execution.

Place of Performance

The delivery location is specified as the NC Department of Adult Correction Columbus Sewing Plant located at 1201 Prison Camp Road, Whiteville, NC 28472.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must be registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State and must provide evidence of this registration upon notification of award. Vendors are required to comply with all applicable laws regarding fair employment practices and must not discriminate against employees or applicants based on protected characteristics. Additionally, vendors must complete various attachments including HUB Supplemental Vendor Information and Customer Reference Forms.
