Demolition and Reconstruction of Equipment Pits with Contaminated Soil Removal at Vehicle Maintenance Building, Everett, WA

Scope of Work

The contract requires the following work at the Vehicle Maintenance Building located at 1802 75th ST SW, Everett, WA 98203, Snohomish County, Washington: - Demolition and removal of existing concrete pits and slabs associated with current vehicle lift installations. - Construction of two (2) new equipment pits to accommodate new lift installations. - Excavation, removal, handling, and off-site disposal of petroleum-contaminated soils encountered during excavation, as required. - Disposal of contaminated soils at the District's designated disposal vendor in Seattle. - Provision and placement of clean backfill on an as-needed basis after removal of contaminated materials.

Background

This project involves the replacement of existing vehicle lift equipment pits and the remediation of petroleum-contaminated soils to support new lift installations at the Vehicle Maintenance Building.

Contract Requirements

All labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the demolition, removal, construction, soil handling, and backfilling as described above must be provided by the contractor.

Do not submit questions via Public Purchase. - Responses to questions will be posted on or before Wednesday, May 20, 2026, by 2:00pm.
