Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the renovation of the Canteen Kitchen as per provided drawings and specifications. Key tasks include: - Demolition of the existing front-line grill hood and fire suppression system, including associated ductwork containing asbestos mastic and exhaust fan. - Installation of a new front-line hood, fire suppression system, dedicated air handler, exhaust fan, and associated ductwork. - Relocation of the front-line grill exhaust fan closer to the grill hood to minimize horizontal runs of grease duct. - Ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations during construction by coordinating with VAHCS representatives. - Compliance with infection control measures and safety regulations throughout the project.
