Background The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), through its Interior Business Center (IBC) and Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), is seeking appraisal services for land in New Mexico, specifically for the Navajo Tracts case (AQD_NAV_2026_02). The goal of this contract is to provide market value appraisals to assist the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) in fulfilling its trust responsibilities regarding a sale transaction related to the subject property, as mandated by federal regulations. Work Details The contractor will perform market value appraisals for 26 individual tracts of land identified in the attached list and supporting documents. The appraisal report must adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and include detailed descriptions of the subject properties, including legal descriptions, land uses, access quality, and any relevant characteristics. The appraisal must not include structural improvements or personal property. The report should also contain aerial photographs, maps, and a summary of comparable sales data with appropriate adjustments. The Sales Comparison Approach is expected to be used for valuation. Each appraisal report must be delivered in electronic format within 60 days from contract award, with a final delivery date set at 100 days after award. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract is targeted at 100 calendar days from the date of purchase order award, with an initial appraisal target date set at 60 days post-award. Place of Performance The appraisal services will be performed in New Mexico.
