Background

The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) is seeking to enhance its Food Safety & Consumer Services Laboratory's capacity for rapid pathogen detection and high-throughput testing. This solicitation aims to procure a compact automated immunoassay system that meets specific performance requirements to support public health through regulatory testing services.

Work Details

The contract involves providing one (1) Compact Automated Immunoassay System that must meet or exceed the following specifications: 1. Purpose & Analytical Capability: Differentiate microbial strains/subtypes after species identification, suitable for outbreak investigation and research. 2. Throughput & Performance: Process and analyze up to 96 samples per run with fully automated analysis completed in approximately 180 minutes. 3. Form Factor & Installation: Compact benchtop design, operable on standard electrical outlets. 4. Data Analysis & Software: User-friendly software supporting multiple analysis methods and formats compatible with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). 5. Quality Assurance: Include a Performance Qualification test for end-users. 6. System Components: Must include an integrated computer/data analysis module and a printer for documentation. 7. Operational Efficiency: Low energy consumption with minimal installation and maintenance requirements. 8. Delivery Requirement: System must be delivered on or before June 29, 2026.

Bidders should have at least ten years of experience in laboratory instrument manufacturing/services and provide three non-bidder owned customer references from similar services within the last thirty-six months.
