Background
Broward County's Parks and Recreation Division is seeking to procure a quad axle catamaran-style boat trailer suitable for a new Sightseer boat. The goal of this contract is to enhance the recreational facilities at Quiet Waters Park, ensuring that the County has the necessary equipment to support its mission of providing quality parks and recreational services.
Work Details
The contractor is required to supply and deliver a new quad axle catamaran-style boat trailer that meets the following specifications: - Must be set up and fitted for a 40’ x 12’ x 3’ Sightseer catamaran hulled pontoon boat. - Must have no less than 4 axles with brakes on all axles. - Must feature spring suspension or an approved equal. - Bunks must be no less than 4” x 4” and adjustable. - Due to weight and size, it must have either Military Pintle Style or a 2-7/8” Ball Receiver. - All DOT required markings and lighting must be included. - The trailer must be new; used or refurbished equipment will not be accepted. - A minimum one-year warranty on all parts is required. - Delivery must be FOB Destination with all shipping costs included in the unit price, within 45 calendar days of receipt of Purchase Order (PO). - Delivery will be accepted Monday – Friday, from 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Quiet Waters Park, located at 401 South Powerline Road, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442.
Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to commence upon award. Delivery of the trailer must occur within 45 calendar days after receipt of the Purchase Order.
