County Road Pavement Restriping and Marking Services (Approx 72 Miles)

Background

The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids from GDOT Prequalified Subcontractors for the FY26-CP-E14 County Road Restriping Project. This project aims to enhance road safety and visibility through comprehensive pavement marking operations on approximately 72 miles of county-maintained paved roads.

Work Details

The project includes the following pavement marking operations: high build wet weather traffic paint, thermoplastic traffic striping, raised pavement markers, pavement arrows with raised reflectors, and preformed plastic pavement markings. Specific quantities and types of materials include: - Thermoplastic Traffic Striping (5 IN, White Solid, Yellow Solid, Yellow Skip) - High Build Wet Weather Paint Traffic Striping (5 IN, White Solid, Yellow Solid, Yellow Skip)

Raised Pavement Markers

- Thermoplastic Pavement Markings (Arrows TP1 and TP2) - Preformed Plastic Pavement Markings for various locations as detailed in the bid package.

Period of Performance

The project is expected to commence within 30 consecutive calendar days of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Substantial Completion must be achieved no later than 90 consecutive calendar days after this date. Final Acceptance is required within 120 consecutive calendar days.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed on various county-maintained paved roads throughout Bulloch County, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be GDOT Prequalified Subcontractors. A bid bond of 5% of the total bid is required upon submission. Successful bidders must provide performance and payment bonds for the contract amount. Additionally, contractors must maintain insurance coverage including workers' compensation and general liability insurance with specified limits.
