Background This contract is issued by the III Corps & Fort Hood, Texas, to provide Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and related services. The primary goal is to support deployment and redeployment operations within a 100-mile radius of Fort Hood, ensuring that all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials are available for efficient movement of unit equipment as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor will be responsible for adhering to the requirements outlined in subsequent task orders. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, fuel, and other items necessary to perform movements of Unit Equipment. Specific tasks include: - Providing capability to simultaneously upload and download containerized equipment across several battalion footprints. - Supporting operations at various locations including wash racks, line haul sites, Deployment Ready Reaction Fields (DRRF), and Rail Operations Centers (ROC). - Performing 24-hour continuous operations when required at the task order level. - Furnishing all materials and labor necessary to manage and accomplish task orders as defined in the PWS. - Providing a range of MHE including cranes (180-ton and 300-ton), forklifts (15K lb., 30K lb., 36K lb.), light and heavy tractors with removable gooseneck trailers, and rough terrain cargo handlers. Services also include delivery, pickup, service calls, maintenance, and obtaining all required permits. Period of Performance The estimated period of performance for the base period is from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. There are options for additional periods as specified in subsequent task orders. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Fort Hood, Texas and surrounding areas within a 100-mile radius.
