Background The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 17, is issuing this solicitation for Move and Storage Services to support the South Texas VA Healthcare System (STVHCS). The goal of this contract is to provide efficient and timely movement and storage of government-owned furniture, equipment, and materials across various STVHCS locations while minimizing disruption to hospital operations. This acquisition is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Work Details The contractor shall provide a complete range of services including: 1. **Storage**: - A minimum of 10,000 square feet of climate-controlled warehouse space. - Maintain conditions that prevent damage (temperature, humidity, cleanliness). - Use appropriate rack/shelving systems for storage. - Ensure secure storage and accountability of government property. 2. **Moving & Logistics**: - Transport, load/unload, relocate, and install furniture and equipment. - Support both on-site and off-site moves. - Provide packing, protection, and cleanup as needed. - Assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture when required. 3. **Workforce & Management**: - Provide an on-site supervisor responsible for overall coordination of services. - Direct contractor personnel performing warehouse, moving, installation, and removal operations. 4. **Receiving & Warehouse Operations**: - Receive shipments from vendors and manage inventory effectively. Place of Performance The primary location for performance will be within 25 miles of Audie L. Murphy Memorial Hospital in San Antonio, TX.
