Work Details

The contract involves the supply of two MCI D4020 IST'V (MY2026) Prisoner Buses with the following specifications: - Standard semi-monocoque low-corrosion stainless steel frame - Standard composite exterior body panels - Standard plug style front entrance door - Cummins X12 engine rated at 410 hp with 1,450 lb-ft torque - Allison B500 automatic transmission - Bendix ADB22X disc brakes - ZF independent front and tag axle suspension system with premium Sachs shocks - MCI Dynamic Suspension System (MDSS) including high/low rise and kneeling features - Maintenance air supply located at the front and rear of coach - 200-gallon fuel tank and 15-gallon DEF tank - Firestone FS400 tires (315/80 R22.5) - Amerex fire suppression system and a 10-unit first aid kit included. Each bus will also feature specialized seating arrangements for guards and inmates, including Recaro Ergo Metro officer seats, security components, and lavatory facilities. The buses must comply with EPA certification standards.
