Background The Department of the Air Force, specifically the 5th Contracting Squadron at Minot AFB, ND, is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the removal and replacement of washers and dryers in dormitory buildings. This contract aims to enhance the facilities provided to personnel residing in these dormitories as part of their mission to support Air Force operations. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary for the removal and replacement of 84 double stack washers and dryers along with associated hoses and venting in the common areas for Buildings 214 & 216. All replacements must include new water hoses, drain lines, and dryer venting from the appliance to the wall connection point. The specific requirements include: - 42 double stack washers and dryers for Building 214 - 42 double stack washers and dryers for Building 216 Additionally, there is an optional line item for: - 18 side-by-side (non-stackable) washers and dryers for Building 205 - 18 side-by-side (non-stackable) washers and dryers for Building 207 The contractor is also responsible for the proper disposal of all old appliances and related materials.
