Background

The Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 27-CN-0004 for the procurement of paper products to support twelve NOLA Public Schools. Work Details

The contract includes the supply of various paper products as specified in the bid documents. Key items include: 1. School Packets: Individually wrapped packets containing a fork, straw, and napkin. 2. Spoon Fork Combination (Spork): Individually wrapped packets containing a spork, straw, and napkin. 3. Individual Spoons: Individually wrapped polypropylene spoons. 4. Individual Forks: Individually wrapped polypropylene forks. 5. Wrapped Milk Straws: Single-use milk straws in bulk packaging. 6. Wrapped Drinking Straws: Single-use drinking straws in straight or flexible designs. 7. 3 Compartment Plates: Compostable plates for food service. 8. 6 Compartment Trays: Biodegradable trays for food service. 9. Sandwich Tubs: Various sizes for sandwich packaging. 10. Portion Cups and Lids: Various sizes for serving portions of food items. 11. Disposable Bags and Gloves: For general use in food service operations.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective upon award and will last for one year, with options to renew for two additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to the Orleans Parish School Board located at 2401 Westbend Parkway, New Orleans, Louisiana 70114.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. They are required to submit a certification statement confirming they are not debarred or suspended by any federal agency. Additionally, bidders must provide samples of their products at the bid opening as specified.
