Employee Safety Footwear Program

Background

The State of Tennessee, Department of Transportation (TDOT) is seeking a vendor to manage the Employee Safety Footwear Program for approximately 2,500 field staff. The goal is to provide eligible employees with an annual allotment for safety footwear while ensuring compliance with state security requirements. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to assess vendors' capabilities in meeting these requirements and to gather input for a future solicitation.

Work Details

The Contractor will be responsible for managing the employee safety shoe program, which includes: - Providing logistical and administrative support for the program. - Collecting size and style information from employees. - Coordinating order placements and managing the receipt and distribution of approved safety footwear. - Troubleshooting any issues related to ordering, shipping, receiving, or payment of footwear. - Ensuring that all State Data is housed in the continental United States and remains secure throughout processing, storage, and transmission. The Contractor must also comply with various security audits and maintain privacy controls as outlined in Attachment A.

Period of Performance

The contract period will be determined based on the future solicitation process following this RFI.

Place of Performance

Services will primarily be performed on-site at TDOT locations across Tennessee, with online support also required.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must provide a signed written response confirming their ability or inability to comply with the requirements outlined in Attachment A. Additionally, they must ensure that all State Data is managed according to strict security protocols, including encryption standards and compliance with NIST guidelines.
